New Hamburg Board of Trade offers membership deal

The New Hamburg Board of Trade is recognizing these are difficult times by offering a membership deal for any business that wants to join the board and take advantage of all the benefits membership has to offer.

By joining now, members will get to take advantage of membership benefits for the remainder of 2009, including participation in four monthly meetings, throughout all of 2010.

The monthly networking meetings run from January to May and September to November and offer catered meals with informative guest speakers.

Membership also includes a free listing on the New Hamburg Board of Trade Directory Web site; opportunity to provide input on community and business issues and projects; regular opportunities to present and promote your organization to community leaders; and special events like the board’s annual golf tournament.

Chair of the membership committee David Seyler said the deal is being offered with the understanding that things are tight for some businesses. Despite the economic slowdown, the board of trade hasn’t slowed down its efforts to build a better community, including its recent response to flooding that raised $60,000 for victims of the December 2008 flood.

Full membership in the board of trade costs $215.25.
