New Hamburg Board of Trade General Membership Meeting

March 24, 2010

1) Our guest speaker was Melanie Reist, civil litigation lawyer and partner in the Kitchener firm of Charles Morrison and Melanie Reist. She was introduced by Randy Thomson and thanked by Kristen Hahn.

2) Kristen Hahn provided an introduction to the 3/50 program that is promoting ³shop local² in the US. She will explore this further.

3) The Board of Trade will again sponsor a candidate in the New Hamburg Fall Fair Ambassador of the Fair event; Kathryn Ritz will again be our liaison.

4) It was noted that the Executive will consider a policy concerning donations to community causes.

5) The Board of Trade will sponsor an candidates¹ meeting - Oct. 6, 210 (The organizing committee includes Steve Wagler, Deb Myers, Meredith Hagen)
